Collaboration and integration
For many children, starting school is the first major transition in life from the family home and into other environments, like full time schooling. This brings about challenges and risks.
Children’s behaviour and the physical and social environment increase the risk of adverse events such as injuries, the development of chronic conditions, mental and behavioural problems, and risk factors that persist into adolescence and adulthood. This is a crucial time for learning, social and emotional development and social participation, and the acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills. It is also a critical time for establishing good health and social behaviours.
Our vision is that all children have the best start to life. We will measure the impact of the services provided through Mana Kidz using the following outcomes, indicators and measures.
